About the exhibition

Under the high royal patronage, and on the occasion of the silver jubilee of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein assuming his constitutional powers, the Jordanian Publishers Union is organizing the twenty-third session of the Amman International Book Fair (2024), during the period September 25 - October 5, 2024 at the fairgrounds (Amman International Book Fair website For cars/airport road).
In order to emphasize the importance of this cherished occasion, and with the aim of enhancing the success achieved by the exhibition, which has become one of the most important Jordanian cultural achievements over twenty years, a supreme advisory body was formed for the exhibition, which includes the secretaries-general of: the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities.
The Supreme Advisory Board also includes representatives of the Greater Amman Municipality, the Jordanian Customs Department, the Abdul Hameed Shoman Cultural Foundation, the Amman Chamber of Commerce, and the Amman Chamber of Industry, in addition to the president of the Jordanian Publishers Union and the director of the exhibition, in an effort to achieve the desired integration between national institutions and community institutions in order to make this a success. The prominent national cultural event that the Kingdom is celebrating this year.
Holding this exhibition annually is the best evidence of the importance of the publishing industry and its role in improving society and building the culture of the individual, despite the challenges facing the book industry in recent years. The Jordanian Publishers Union is organizing this unique event based on its belief in the necessity of keeping Jordan on the cultural map. Arabic by organizing a distinguished cultural program that attracts an elite group of Jordanian and Arab thinkers, intellectuals, and creators who have known Amman as an oasis of culture in this region of the world, by embodying the values of openness, tolerance, dialogue, and upholding common humanity.
The Jordanian Publishers Union stresses the importance of the contribution of national institutions and the private sector in supporting the cultural activities that are held during the exhibition, as this is an integral part of social responsibility. Invitation to participate
The administrative body of the Jordanian Publishers Union invites institutions, companies and publishing houses wishing to participate in the twenty-third session of the Amman International Book Fair, which will be held during the period September 25 - October 5, 2024, to register and reserve the required space through the exhibition website www.unionjp.com
